PART I - SUMMARY OF DISCIPLESHIP
1. Biblical Discipleship
One of the most vital aspects of all Paducah Lifeline's programs is Biblical Discipleship. Students are taught the foundational principles of Christian Doctrine. (This is detailed in the residential program description.)
2. Relationship Training
Mission Objective: Developing men into accountable husbands, commited fathers, resposible sons, and good citizens that can bring stability into their homes and make positive contributions to the community. (This is detailed in the residential program description.)
3. Recovery Training
Mission Objective: Deliverance and Freedom from the bondage of addictions through Christ-Centered groups, counseling, and relationship building. Students are required to participate in several “recovery” group sessions and counseling. (This is detailed in the residential program description.)
4. Educational Training
Mission Objective: To give students an opportunity to obtain a GED as well as resume training. (This is detailed in the residential program description.)
5. Vocational Training
Mission Objective: To develop strong and healthy vocational objectives and ethics as well as implement financial responsibility and budgeting skills. (This is detailed in the residential program description.)
6. Independent Living
Mission Objective: To remove the crutch of program dependency and transition into a healthy and solid lifestyle without relying on governmental or program assistance. (This is detailed in the residential program description.)

Built on God's Word, Spirit, and People, Lifeline for Men offers residential recovery in Paducah Kentucky for adult men who struggle with life-controlling problems.

The program is generally six months in duration and helps men begin new lives as they experience salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ and learn to identify and conquer the triggers that have driven them into co-dependent and destructive lifestyles. They will build new disciplines through study and accountability, which will lead to responsible, productive, lives within the community.

The program consists of the five following components of recovery:

3. Accountability
4. Boundaries
5. Consistency

Providing in-depth spiritual awareness and training to restore mind, body, and soul:
Extensive Bible-Studies - Biblical Discipleship - Community Church Services - Personal Devotion Times - Individual Counseling
THE ROAD OF RESTORATION IN CHRIST
Understanding the very purpose of our lives.
Breaking away from disobedience and sinful habits against God.
Knowing forgiveness and attaining it.
Restoring broken relationships.
Being responsible and upholding accountability.
Applying God’s word to our daily lives through Scripture:
* Extensive group sessions focusing on recovery.

VOCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Implementing proper work ethics is vital in the long-term success of an individual experiencing recovery. The students are required to sow back into the community through various types of labor. We are currently involved in several construction related activies as well as community and church programs.
MAINTAINING A DISCIPLINED ENVIRONMENT
Lifeline’s program consists of a fully supervised schedule of activities. With the help of a Christ-centered staff; structure, discipline, and encouragement is available at all times, developing a solid foundation of Biblical Principles for Life.

Walkthrough
Phase 1: The fundamental building blocks of recovery are taught in a class room setting with group participation and individual one on one mentoring. After entering the program students are required to participate in several of the above listed classes, group sessions, as well as one-on-one counseling and community events and church services. Vocational training and financial management is implemented in the first phase.
Phase 2: The Transitional Phase of our program takes the clients phase I foundation and teaches them to practically apply the information to real life situations. During the second phase of the program clients are required to obtain day time employment. They are permitted to have their own vehicle and cell phones. Clients are required to participate in evening classes and church services These classes include a continued study of Walk of Repentance, Sexual Idolatry, Authentic Living, and Overcoming Temptation. Clients are also required to budget and prepare for independent living. During this phase residents pay rent of no more than $7.00 per day, this teaches the discipline of priorities. During Phase II, according to individual progress, 24 hr passes are considered on a weekly basis.
Phase 3: The independent living phase of our program allows the men to return to their home or live independently. Attendance of the church of their choice, continuation of program education, group meetings and one on one mentoring is all part of this final phase.
Conclusion: All clients are treated on an individual bases according to specific needs that staff and the director feel are in the clients best interest. The program is very structured and well balanced and creates an atmosphere that will prepare the client to successfully manage her life. The men are surrounded at all times with loving staff, volunteers and support groups that provide a shelter and safe place during this time of change in their lives. Please consider partnering with us for the liberation of men who have been caught in self-destructive life patterns. Freeing people is never easy or cheap. Jesus gave His life to set us free; as His followers we can also give of our time, abilities, and resources to lead others into the joy of wholesome, Christ-centered living.
