Eckenberg join Lifeline’s board of directors

Missy Eckenberg has joined the board of directors for Lifeline Recovery Center, a residential treatment program for substance abuse.

With undergraduate and graduate degrees in nursing from Murray State University, Missy has worked in neurosurgery and oncology. Former positions include Regional Coordinator for the Kentucky Cancer Program, Director of the Lourdes Hospital Foundation, and Director of Development for St. Thomas More Church. She currently works in property development.

Missy is a past president of the Rotary Club of Paducah and Rotary District Governor 2017-18. A volunteer for many organizations, she served on the Community Scholarship Program board and the Chamber Business Advocacy Committee.

“With her medical and community service background, Missy brings a unique and valuable perspective to our board’s commitment to help people fighting addiction,” said board chair Steve Powless.

Missy is married to Stan Eckenberg, retired from CSI, and has two daughters, Erin, a Paducah business owner, and Sarah, a director at Catholic Charities USA in Washington, D.C.
